Today's Conundrum:

Sharisse and Mytresa have been experimenting with balloons.

They found that if they fill five balloons with helium, they can use the balloons to lift fifty pounds. Three of the same balloons filled with hydrogen lift sixty pounds. Ten filled with neon lift twenty pounds.

How many pounds could the ladies lift with two hydrogen, three helium, and seven neon balloons?

Answer to Numbers Conundrum:

What are two numbers made up of only 1's, that when multiplied by each other or add to one another equal the same number?

(HINT: They cannot be 1 and 11, because 1+11 = 12 and 1 x 11 = 11)

1 and 11.1:  1 + 11.1 = 12.1
                    1 x 11.1 = 12.1

  1. Cassie, I just love your conundrum for two main reasons. Number one, I love math and logic games and secondly you taught me a new word. These conundrums definitely keep your site interesting and it shows that maybe you are having just a little bit too much fun!
